        NEW YORK CITY THE BIG APPLE

Well i finally went on my dream holiday to NEW YORK
I have always wanted to go since i was a teenager to see the sights and do some shopping (did not disappoint). I went at the end of August for just short of a week. I had not flown for the 4 years so was very nervous and even had a few glasses of wine before the flight.
We did everything i wanted to do, we had a very busy week the first sight was the Statue of Liberty (amazing).
 Fact's about the Statue of Liberty:
 It was actually a gift to the United States from France.
Full name is LIBERTY ENLIGHTENING THE WORLD.
In high winds of 50mph she can sway by up to 3inch.

We had tickets for Hop on and Hop off bus so we could get round and see everything . 
The Empire State Building was next. My fear of heights got the best of me and i could not go up my boyfriend did and said it was amazing .
Maybe next time i will go up but i did get some good pics while waiting.

It stands at 1454 feet (443)m heigh
Currently the 5th tallest completed skyscraper in the United States.
29th tallest in the world.

We also went to 9/11 Memorial,Boat cruise,Central park and Top of Rock observation deck, yes i went up but come straight back down as was to nervous so no pics.

Food in New York was amazing i always said i wanted to try a bakery called Carlos Bakery and get a cannoli. The cannoli was really nice but very sweet even for me, i love anything sweet. We had burgers at night, pizzas and pancakes for breakfast( the diet has already started).

We did go and see a Broadway show Matilda. This was amazing the talent the children had was out of this world. How they remembered all there lines and dances i will never know. I did manage to take a sneaky picture of the set.

Well we did not do as much shopping as i wanted but hard to shop and see the amazing sites. I did get few bits i wanted. We went to an outlet called Woodbury Common.Everything was either 50% off or reduced.
 I did find something i have been looking for 3 years Bethenny Frankel (Real Housewives of New York) Skinny Girl Magertia .I will not drink it I will just keep it for display. I have been a fan for years.

All in all the holiday was amazing and i would love to go back just need to save more money.
